Hi! I'm Noah, an aspiring professional deeply passionate about technology and cybersecurity. Currently preparing for my academic journey at Colorado Mesa University, I'm excited to pursue a degree in Computer Science alongside a minor in Cybersecurity. Beyond academics, I find fulfillment in tinkering with cars, exploring the great outdoors through mountain biking and snowboarding, and fostering meaningful connections with friends.
Durring my tenure in the Warren Tech Cybersecurity program, I had the chance to get hands on experience with Microsoft Active Directory within the Windows Server OS, working specifically with Windows Deployment Serices(WDS) and Microseoft Deployment Toolkit(MDT) to create the boot and reference images for the next year of students, as well as creating a PXE boot image for our competition laptops! Throughout learning this, I also got more experience with enterprise netowrks, and with servers hosting protocols such as DHCP, and DNS
Embracing the oportunities that Warren Tech provided me with, I studied hard and sat for my A+ exam within my first semster of the program, getting a great foundation for my continued learning, and a huge step forward in my career path.
I had the chance to learn a ton about Virtual Machines at Warren Tech, and I took that knowledge and ran with it. On my home PC, I created a whole virtualized network enviornment using VirtualBox. Using Windows Server 2019, I set up a miniturized enterprise netowrk, with Server Managers, DHCP, DNS, Firewalls, Routers, Clients and more. This project gave me a much better understanding of network management as a whole, and was super enjoyable. While I did encounter some problems while working on this, it was a really unique experience, and gave me a new perspective into the world of IT infrastructre and management.
